A: Well, you pointed us to it! We do not keep any password information, and we are only accessing what is already available to anyone on the world wide web. So there is no sneaky magic, and yes, you should know all those bits and pieces of you are readily available for world consumption.
Q: Why is it taking so long to refresh my page?A: Quite simply, we're tracking a lot of feeds! We've upgraded our servers and we're actively improving our refresher. We're working hard to ensure your pages are updated more frequently and will offer more ways to refresh pages in the future. As soon as we have an update on this, we will communicate it to all our users. Thanks for being patient!
Q: Your templates are ugly. How can I style my own?A: If you're a designer/css hacker, please feel free to grab our CSS package and create a stylesheet of your own. You can easily paste in your stylesheet later in the Settings:Edit stylesheet screen. Some of our users have already taken the look-and-feel into their own hands:
If you come up with a style you'd like to share with other users, let us know and we'll put it in our templates section and credit you with a link to your site.
Q: How does it work? Give me the geeky answer please.A: SuprGlu currently relies on RSS (Really Simple Syndication) and Atom feeds. These are feeds published by the web service you use so that you and other people interested in you can read updates more easily from an aggregator (like Bloglines). You can read more about RSS over at the Wikipedia.
Q: How can I get my data out?A: We will provide RSS feeds for user pages in the near future. We are also planning a set of web services for the more hacker-minded out there.
Q: I think you should integrate with _________. Sorry, this wasn’t a question.A: We welcome your suggestions. You can e-mail them to feedback@suprglu.com or post them in our forum.
